MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
First the BAD news, membership in OMA doesn't mean another golf outing each year! While we're not a social organization, your membership will expose you to some great people and may start some warm, personal, long lasting friendships.

OMA is essential to you because it gives voice, importance, and impact to Oilheat equipment manufacturers. Membership in OMA assures the future of Oilheat and of YOUR BUSINESS!!

Without OMA, where would the Oilheat industry be?

What other organization could have done so much??

Take a quick look at some of our accomplishments:

  • revision of NFPA-31 eliminating the requirement to line existing chimneys.
  • reversal of NFPA vent size increase.
  • proposed restrictions on oil fired water heaters in Massachusetts were prevented.
We've built several coalitions and worked with other associations to accomplish so much:
  • an engineering report which shows the important role Oilheat plays in reducing harmful greenhouse gasses and other pollutants.
  • a report clearly demonstrating the economic advantages of Oilheat.
  • OMA is a founder and leader in the PMAA Technician Certification program.
  • OMA is very involved with the PMAA Oil Tank protocol committee.
  • OMA is a founder and primary supporter of NORA.
  • OMA is very involved with, and in fact grew out of, the Build with Oil Program!
