Our Annual Marketer Forum was the inspiration that sparked the formation of the Metropolitan Energy Council. As a result, millions of dollars have been raised for advertising to homeowners about the advantages of oilheating. Expanded into the East Coast Energy Council, it now reaches all over the East Coast.

The Oilheat Task Force, another outgrowth of the Annual Marketer Forum, organized to fight suffocating government regulations-a vital benefit for the industry.

Build with Oil , a cooperative effort by manufacturers and associations, was created and is run by Oilheating Journal. Its goal is to revitalize oilheat's growth in the new home market. As a result, impressive traveling displays, national advertising to custom builders, seminars for oilheating companies, and a continued presence at custom builder shows have all stimulated oilheat's new home market share.

Oilheat Manufacturers Association (OMA), founded by Oilheating Journal as an an outgrowth of Build with Oil...the first and only trade association specifically for oilheating equipment manufacturers.

NORA-National Oilheat Research Alliance. By bringing together key oilheating industry executives at the Oilheating Marketer Forum, run by our magazine, we played a key role in the organization of NORA. As a result, the oilheat industry is poised for significant growth.
